What is and How is the CORE PHP framework?

Question by Eric W: What is and How is the CORE PHP framework?
So, I am working with a team that said they are using PHP 5 Core framework for the project.
I haven’t heard of core. We’ve used Zend, Symphony, Cake, but never Core.

Is it a decent PHP 5 framework? How’s the community? Do you have a link or something that would help describe it? I can’t find anything on it online compared to other PHP frameworks.

As per my understanding. they are not using any php framework.

PHP Frameworks are built around PHP to provide well defined, standard and generalized solution to specific problems.

So some times when people develop code using built-in library and functions they called it as core php.
