go to command prompt

and type like

ping www.yahoo.com

consider yahoo.com is the site where i cnt access. ok

you ll get ip’s seen. saay 69.152.25.45 …
sme thing like this, note down the ip

then cme back to the browser
and type

http://69.152.25.45

and press enter
where 69.152.25.45 is the ip you got..

now the site will work

Try using another brower, such as Mozilla Firefox or Opera and see if you can access those sites. If it’s a “parental control” program that’s preventing you from going to those, hopefully these browsers can get past it.

Ah, well, if it’s a work PC you might want to be careful. Many companies monitor their employees’ internet access, and it may be bad to spend too much time on “non-productive sites”. If your boss doesn’t care (I think he does, because he installed the program in the first place) or you don’t really care, you could terminate the program in the windows background. Press control-alt-delete, find the program/process under “Processes,” and right-click on the one that you want to end. This could result in system instability, though, so save any open files that you have.
