I tried a lot of other scripture applications and most of them can accomplish getting the text of the scriptures on your device to read. This application goes WAY beyond that. With highlighting, bookmarking, notes, synchronization between your mobile device and your Mac or PC, and it includes about all the written content you could ever need instead of just the standard works. It has the Hymns, General Conference, manuals, magazines, quotes… The list goes on and on. The interface is easy to use and navigate. I usually find that I can get to a verse as fast or faster than others, whether they have physical scriptures or another application on a device.

The $15 for the application seems like a lot compared to other applications in the app market but when you consider all you’re getting with it for the price of a meal at a restaurant, it’s a bargain. Some people may think that scriptures should always be free and to them I would say go get one of the free apps that just give you the text of the scriptures. What you pay for with this application is the work that has been put into making a truly well designed and usable scripture study/General Conf/Ensign/etc… application.

I also get the impression the development team is committed to making the application better and better. I feel good about supporting this application whole-heartedly.

In my opinion it’s the best scripture app out there. They also continue to make important improvements. I’m sure it will one day be a five star rated app.
