Windows Xp?

I have a windows vista ultimate laptop.When I bought it it had Windows xp on it.I upgraded it to windows vista then it started rebooting.So when the computer shop people tried to put Windows xp the computer didn’t respond they said that it is beacause of the sata harddisk.After somehow they put Windows xp.then my dad put windows vista again.Now it works properly.but I want to put windows xp now should i do it?

If it works fine, then there should be no reason to swap back to XP.

    well your laptop was built for Xp, you will find a performance boost with the less demanding Xp.

    Perhaps it is time that you should all ( your Dad, yourself and the Shop people ) sit down and undergo a lengthy negotiation as to what OS you should put on the Laptop.

    Now that Vista works OK if you need to reinstall XP ( just because you want it that way ) then you should go back to the shop people. Then have them prep the Laptop again so as it could be ready for another Windows XP install. Maybe you can even have them install Windows XP for you.

    When the Shop people were going to put Windows XP on the Laptop, they also installed the necessary software for the SATA Drive (for it to be recognized by Windows XP) and so later on your Dad was able to install Vista on it.
