This is a fun and functional piggy bank! When we received it we immediately emptied the old piggy bank and started inserting coins into the Digi-Piggy. It was fun to put the coins in, both my 7 year old and 2 year old enjoyed pushing them into the bank. My daughter was very excited to learn that she had almost ten dollars, I could practically see dollar signs in her eyes! I will definitely not miss having to dump all the change out and counting it every time my daughter wants to spend her money. The LCD readout is very clear and you can watch as it counts each new coin. Just make sure that you firmly push the coins in, we found a few times when a penny would pop back up the bank would read it as a dime, we simply set aside a dime and when finished unscrewed the top and dropped the dime in. I am sure my daughters will get the hang of inserting the coins in no time. This is a great way to help your child learn to save money and have fun at the same time. It seems very durable too. I would definitely recommend this product.
