This adapter takes care of that problem. The adapter is easy to install. Plus, it comes with a wired base that connects to the desktop. This base allows you to easily move the adapter as needed to capture a good signal. I have had no problem with this device since I installed it a month ago. I founded two external antenna port when I tore off the case. If you can modify this, you can have better coverage.
