This program explores the whole history of Delphi from early Mycenaean times until the site was destroyed after the Christian era started. The treatment of the topic is so thorough that it answers most questions. Topics include the main god (Apollo and also Dionysus), practices followed to consult the oracle, notables who consulted, its standing in the ancient world and how it rose and fell. My only caveat does not apply to the program but to the (unnecessary) inclusion of a brief introduction to the History Channel which precedes it.
