    So-so ho hum textbook. Only got it as it was required for a course I was taking. I would NOT recommend this as a resource to learn the language – you are gonna get rid of it as soon as the class is over. Buy it as cheap as you can and dump it after the class.

    I purchased this new book for my son at much better price than normally available. Actually it is a new book at used book’s price. The delivery was also within time mentioned. so no hassles on price or delivery.

    On the content of the book, it is a book for beginners and lists most of the basic steps in details. Overall a very good purchase for Java students.

    This book really is worth every penny. It makes learning about Java much easier. Anyone just learning Java should get this book. It is not filled wit all those gibberish details that most Java books have that tend to confuse you. Get this book as part of you collection.
